Privacy Notice

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Who we are

Redfearn Experts Limited is responsible for personal information collected when you enquire about our services or apply to work with us.

Company number: 11911848
Registered office: 3rd Floor, 45 Albemarle Street, London, England, W1S 4JL

For privacy enquiries, contact [email protected] or write to our registered office.

This notice covers website enquiries, recruitment applications and optional email marketing. It does not describe the separate processing involved in client casework or using the Awaab Comply app.

Information we collect and why

For enquiries, we collect the contact details, organisation details, messages and correspondence you provide. We use these to respond, discuss your requirements and administer potential instructions.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating our business. Where you are personally considering entering a contract with us, we may also process information to take steps at your request before entering that contract.

For recruitment, we collect information you provide about your qualifications, professional memberships, experience, employment history and availability, including your CV and application correspondence. We use this to assess suitability and manage recruitment, relying on our legitimate interest in finding suitable people to work with us. Contractual steps and legal obligations may also apply where relevant.

Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond properly or assess an application without relevant details. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or information about other people in general enquiries.

Email marketing

Where you separately opt in to email marketing, we may email you about Redfearn Experts’ services and updates. We rely on your consent for these emails.

Making an enquiry or submitting a CV does not itself constitute consent to marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. This does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Who receives your information

Relevant Redfearn staff access information to handle enquiries and applications.

We also use service providers for website hosting, enquiry management, email and document storage. These include Microsoft and Dropbox. Providers may process information as necessary to deliver and support those services.

We may disclose relevant information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Cookies and website analytics

Essential cookies support website operation, security and your cookie choices. Our redex-cookie-consent cookie remembers whether you allow analytics for 180 days. It is set on redfearnexperts.co.uk.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to measure visits and how pages are used. This involves online identifiers and information about your browser, device and activity on the site. Google receives this information to provide the analytics service. We rely on your consent for this optional tracking.

Google Analytics uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visitors and maintain session information. Google’s default expiry is two years; browser restrictions may shorten this. See Google’s cookie information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Choose Essential only to use the site without Google Analytics, or Accept all to allow analytics. Use Change cookie choices in the footer to withdraw consent or choose again. This clears our consent preference and accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain and reloads the page. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics loading; it does not remove information already received by Google. You can also manage cookies through your browser.

The Instagram feed is supplied by Tagembed and stays unloaded until you select Load Instagram feed. Selecting that button permits the feed to connect to Tagembed and its content providers for that page visit. They may receive browser and device information and use cookies or similar technologies. Reload the page to return the feed to its unloaded state. This separate choice does not subscribe you to marketing or turn on Google Analytics.

Retention

Our retention periods are:

  • Enquiries that do not become instructions: 12 months after the last contact.
  • Unsuccessful applications: six months after the recruitment decision.
  • CVs retained for future opportunities: with separate permission, 12 months after that permission is given, unless renewed.
  • Email marketing contacts: reviewed after two years without an enquiry, instruction or meaningful response, and removed unless interest is renewed.

We retain a minimal unsubscribe record to prevent further marketing being sent accidentally.

Different retention arrangements apply when an enquiry becomes an instruction or an applicant begins working with us. Relevant records may be retained longer where necessary for a legal obligation or an actual dispute or claim.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or transfer of certain information. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where we rely on it.

Contact [email protected] to make a request or raise a privacy concern. We may need to confirm your identity.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/.

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date above.
